Travel Funding Information -
Traveling to research conferences can become expensive. Luckily, there are a few ways graduate students are able to reach out for support.
- First, you much apply to the College of Education before asking for support from the Graduate School.
- It is important to remember that requests must be made up to 45 days in advance prior to travel! (COE – 45 days and GS – 30 days)
- Also, both will require you to have specific information to verify your travel (see below):
College of Education:
- TTU COE Graduate Student Application – Travel Assistance Form (Click here for the form)
- Copy of official letter of presentation/poster acceptance
- Letter of support from the major professor or other professor in a supervisory role
- Intention to submit graduate travel assistance application
Graduate School:
- Graduate School Application – Travel Assistance Form (different from COE) - (Click here for the form)
- Guidelines & Checklist - signed and dated
- Reference Guide for Travel – signed and dated
- Release Form – Signed and dated
- Copy of official letter of presentation acceptance
- Abstract for paper
- Conference Registration receipt copy
- Airline receipt copy
- Hotel accommodation receipt copy
- Letter of support from the major professor or other professor in a supervisory role.
